Frequently asked questions.
Everything we normally get asked — answered honestly.

Before you write
The questions you ask yourself before you even get in touch.
Do fineline tattoos also work in the long run?
To be able to answer this question, we would first like to explain that a tattoo is not comparable to a drawing on paper. Everyone’s skin is different, and that has a great influence on the long-term result — whatever the tattoo style.
Tattoos done with the right technique and a fitting design age well. Our ambition is not only to create designs and tattoos that look good in photos, but ones that age with you with dignity.
By now we have fineline tattoos that are over seven years old and still look very good. Here are a few examples.
How do I know whether my idea interests you and you want to bring it to life?
We want to be honest with you: impulsive tattoos don’t interest us. If you are looking for something cheap, there are many great studios in Berlin that can do it today.
We prefer to do things with intention and, above all, with the time each project deserves.
We’ll tell you honestly whether we are the right people for your project.
Do you also tattoo in colour?
Yes, of course you can get colour tattoos with us. All the inks we use comply with European Union regulations, so there is nothing to worry about there.
If you would like to know more, we are happy to share detailed information about the brands and ingredients we use.
02
The first contact
I don’t have a design or a reference. Is that necessary to contact you?
No. The most important thing is that you have an idea — it doesn’t have to be fully worked out or crystal clear.
Throughout the entire process we develop a design together with you that reflects your idea as closely as possible and that, in the end, fits you exactly.
How does the process for booking an appointment work?
Once you have filled in our contact form, we get in touch by email or WhatsApp — whichever you prefer.
There we share more information with you and, if needed, ask a few extra questions so we can better understand your idea and your wishes.
Based on that information we put together an individual offer for your project and send you all the important details along with the next steps for booking an appointment.
Can I arrange a consultation in person?
It will be a pleasure to meet you in person and to accompany you with your idea. To arrange a consultation in person, the first step is the same: fill in the form and go through the short process.
Before we meet in person, our first conversation happens by email or WhatsApp. We do that out of respect for your time and our own. That way we can better understand what you have in mind, whether the style you want fits our work, and whether the investment matches your expectations.
We know you don’t know us yet and that it is quite natural to hold back at first. That is why we prefer to take the first steps calmly, so that the distance dissolves little by little.

Your design
How much does a tattoo or a session cost?
After trying out various pricing models, we found that every project should get the time it really needs. That is why today we charge for our work per project.
That means: when we give you a price, it covers the entire process through to the finished result. If it turns out during the project that an additional session is needed, don’t worry. The agreed price stays the same and there are no extra costs for you.
It also helps to understand that small or geometric tattoos often look very simple and quick. In fact, I have more than once taken longer to tattoo a perfectly straight line on a client’s arm than for a very detailed motif.
The price of our work is not set by the size in centimetres, nor by whether a design is especially detailed or colourful. What decides it is the complexity of the project and the estimated time to reach the quality we aim for.
What does the process of designing my tattoo look like?
As soon as your appointment is confirmed, Jair – our head tattoo artist and the artist behind all the tattoos you see on our website – will get in touch with you personally to develop your idea together up to the final design.
Something that matters a lot to us: if the first draft is not quite what you had in mind, we make the adjustments needed until you are 100 % happy.
And if you or Jair feel during the process that the idea needs a little more time, that is no problem at all. We deliberately take things without rushing.
This support and the adjustments come at no extra cost to you. There are just a few conditions, which we explain to you transparently when we send you the offer.
